They have a large selection of different styles of furniture. Jonathan is the person who always finds the perfect furniture for my house. Over the years I have come to think of him as a friend with excellent taste. I’ve only ever had one problem with a piece of furniture from Under the Roof and it was quickly corrected. This is a great furniture store.

First of all, the store is a hidden Waynesboro gem. I had looked for chairs at several other furniture stores in the nearby town where I live, but almost everything was overstuffed & too large for my living room. So I was pleased to see a good variety of traditional/modern, oversized/delicate, etc., here. Jonathan greeted me when I arrived, listened attentively as I explained what I wanted, and was knowledgeable not only about the inventory on the sales floor but then, while I looked around on my own (which I always prefer to being trailed by a salesperson), he took the initiative to see what else the store might have in its warehouse for quick delivery. Jonathan also provided excellent follow-up, including calling the morning of delivery to ensure I would be home and communicating my request back to the delivery team that I would welcome a call 1 hour prior to delivery versus the standard 30 minutes ahead, so I could leave the house and run a few quick errands. Great experience all around. And love the chair I ended up buying!

I love the Luonto Elfin sofa sleeper I bought at UTR. Very comfortable as both sofa and bed. Loveseat size is great for small spaces yet has a full-size bed. I also bought the Luonto Viola sofa -- a stylish midcentury design that is comfortable but not oversized. Jonathan has given me excellent interior design help with paint/fabric options I have brought in and encouragement on my window treatment projects.

I wandered into "Under the Roof" after having lunch across the street. I had been looking for a sofa and chair for a while but hadn't found anything that really attracted me. As my sister and I started looking around the store, more and more things caught our eye. About that time, Kat Lotts came across the store to help us. She was wonderful! She worked with us for a couple of hours, suggesting different styles of sofa which were available, fabrics that would work and we found her to be very knowledgeable about the styles, fabrics, etc. She was listening to what I wanted and liked.
